The service

What to expect

Crown molding gives a room its finishing frame. We refresh suitable existing molding with attention to the shape of the profiles, visible joints and the edges along the wall and ceiling. Whether the molding will match the ceiling or provide a subtle contrast, we review its condition and existing coating before outlining the painting work.

Questions we hear

Crown Molding Painting questions

Can you paint crown molding without repainting the walls?

Yes. We can review a molding-only project and plan protection for adjoining surfaces. The condition of the edges and previous paintwork affects the preparation needed.

Does this include installing new crown molding?

This service is for preparation and painting of suitable existing molding. Installation, replacement or substantial carpentry requires a separately agreed scope.

Can the crown match the ceiling or other trim?

We can discuss either direction. Existing colors, sheen, lighting and the look you want help determine a suitable finish plan.

Will painting hide every gap or uneven joint?

Paint alone does not correct poor fit or damaged material. We assess visible defects and identify suitable repairs and any remaining limitations before agreeing the scope.
